We recently had our house painted by a Southern Painting crew, which was led by Victor. We had the entire exterior done, as well as the interior of a new addition, which included wood staining and painting.

The crew did an excellent job, and Victor especially impressed us. He was very energetic, arriving with the crew early each morning, and checking in with us to see if we had anything to ask or tell him before we went to work. He made sure the crew knew what we expected.

We particularly appreciated his flexibility, as we were still making decisions about colors and placement of color while the job began. At the start of the job, he was able to show us some samples of paint, which helped us choose the right color for us. We chose three different colors for the exterior, and he gave good advice for their placements. Later he accommodated a change to the interior trim color, and still kept on schedule.

Victor and his crew were fast to get the job done, did excellent work, and were also a pleasure to have around. We have since recommended Southern Painting to many of our friends and neighbors.

You have been the most reliable service provider I have experienced in my three months here in the Austin area. Various people warned me of the poor work ethic I might witness in Austin. I have experienced that and then some, however, my experience with Southern Painting has been nothing short of enjoyable.

Mind you, I am not one to describe any type of remodeling as enjoyable. With four children in the house, extra dust and clutter is not necessary for excitement. Much to my surprise however, all of your employees were sensitive to the potential inconvenience. All construction work that could be was done outside the house. Everyone habitually took off his shoes before walking on any carpet. The first step in both the painting and construction job of the closet and media room platform was to lay drop cloths the entire length of the house that would be in use. I was both amazed and grateful at the daily clean up. And, of course, I will never forget you asking for my vacuum cleaner to pick up the last little bit of sawdust.

Your attention to detail in the planning and execution of our projects is evident in the finished product. Please feel free to send potential customers by our house to see your work. Southern Painting might charge more than an individual laborer, but it was worth every penny for the headache that was avoided. God has given you the gift of carpentry and people skills that you are combining in a noteworthy way. I am grateful to have experienced your expertise.
