Rob Ellis

As the Owner/Operator of Southern Painting in Austin, Rob Ellis is proud to be a part of a company that encourages and maintains the highest level of integrity. With a commitment to customer satisfaction, Rob works closely with his team to ensure quality within all aspects of each painting project.

Rob's extensive background as a paint contractor and builder began in 1979 as an apprentice carpenter. Since then he has worked through every aspect of residential and commercial building projects. This experience has allowed him to manage one of the top divisions in the Southern Painting franchise.

Rob is also an internationally recognized Tae-Kwon-Do champion and an inductee into the Universal Martial Arts Hall of Fame. He strongly believes that doing things right and a dedication to excellence are a way of life.

Jason McAtee

As Estimator/Project Manager Southern Painting, Jason McAtee works closely with customers and his team to ensure quality within all aspects of each painting project. Jason is proud to be a part of a company that encourages and maintains the highest level of integrity.

Jason is married with two young boys. He’s an active Martial Artist with a senior ranking in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and an avid fly fisher.

Shane Devenport

Shane is proud to be a part of the Southern Painting family. As an Estimator/Installation Manager, he enjoys working with homeowners throughout their painting project. Shane strives to exceed each customer’s expectations through open communication, customer service, and providing the quality of work Southern Painting is known for.

Shane graduated from Tarleton State University in 2003 and has since been working in the paint industry. Through roles in management and sales, Shane has acquired a very extensive knowledge of paints, coatings, and painting practices.

Shane enjoys spending time with his wife of 9 years and his young daughter. He supports his wife and her volunteer efforts at a local hospital.
